As Progressive Sonoma, an affiliate of the Peaceful Resistance Network, we are a group of local, concerned citizens, organizing for progressive political action. We may be from varying backgrounds and affiliations, but first and foremost we are individuals that love America and hold ourselves and our people to the highest expectations. We do not condone the scapegoating of minorities, misogyny, racism, homophobia, islamophobia, or any other attack on civil liberties, nor violence or the destruction of property. We are a peaceful resistance.

Our mission is to organize and mobilize for progressive political action.
The Peaceful Resistance Network unites, values, and promotes the progressive, individual contributions and ideals that are in the spirit of equality for all and protecting our freedoms.
Our vision is to foster economic equality, inclusive cultural and ethnic diversity, and environmental protection while remaining informed and vigilant in local, state, and national issues.
